Get The Look With Makenna

To all of the ladies with freckles, fair skin, or Auburn hair, today’s look was created with you in mind! Makenna here, a current Organic Bunny customer wrote in wanting help with finding makeup that paired well with her hair and skin tone, all while letting her freckles poke through! While we love makeup, we also love makeup that allows each person’s unique beauty to shine through so we were excited to get her a routine that would accomplish exactly that! • Primer with SPF- We love Suntegrity SPF30 Moisturizing Primer because it’s a facial moisturizer, primer + SPF 30, all in one! It applies totally clear, and is amazing for preventing sunburns and damage, all while keeping the skin soothed and calm! Ideal for fair skin. This non-greasy formula is super light with a citrusy scent, suitable for Vegans and those with sensitive skin. You simply apply this under makeup in place of your AM moisturizer or you can wear it alone if you prefer not to wear any foundation but still want SPF protection, it works great worn either way! You can also start with the sample size tube to see how you like it first!
• Foundation- Nu Evolution is perfect for those seeking a more full coverage, matte liquid foundation! This foundation applies super creamy and ultimately dries with a flexible but matte airbrushed-looking finish especially when paired with the above primer. Makenna is the color 107! You can use a big fluffy brush like Crunchi’s for the best application of this foundation and simply use less product if you want less coverage.
• Eyeshadow- Because Makenna has so many gorgeous warm tones to work with, we felt a customized palette to match her tones was best for her! We love Zuzu Luxe’s customizable palette and decided on a quad of Posh, Hourglass, Tribal & Vamp for her. These shadows are enriched with natural plant waxes and nourishing oils all while being super pigmented and applying like a dream! There are 40 shades to choose from that come in matte, shimmer, satin, and metallic finishes. Mix and match your favorites to create a custom palette for any season!
• Lips- For lips, we chose Gabriel’s liner in Nutmeg paired with Lily Lolo’s lip gloss in Damson Dusk! These glosses have a non-sticky formula that lasts for hours, so they never dry out our lips which is a huge win and it was the perfect pop of color without being too much in combo with her shadow. Whenever we do a more heavy eye look, I really love to balance it out with a more sheer lip so this lip combo worked perfectly!
