Get The Look With April!

Get excited because we are back with an all-new Get The Look featuring April, a clean beauty blogger that you should definitely check out over on @hippie_mama_chronicles. April wrote in looking for a Summer foundation with SPF that would still work with her skin tone. As we all know, finding clean SPF that works for darker complexions can be hit or miss so we really wanted to find the perfect option for her that she will use and love! Because April has normal to dry skin and was seeking a more dewy, medium coverage look, we felt the new Suntegrity Impeccable Skin would be the perfect choice for her! • Foundation with SPF- We love Suntegrity’s Impeccable Skin for exactly what April was seeking. This foundation is designed to not only protect you against UVA + UVB rays with SPF 30, but it will also treat your skin in the process with vitamins and peptides, all while adding the perfect amount of light to medium coverage to leave her skin looking flawless! It’s also formulated without oils or silicones so it has a nice semi-matte finish and never feels heavy or thick. April’s forehead has more color from the sun so it is a little darker than the rest of her face, which is common, so we let her decide which area she wanted to match. To match her lighter tones like her cheeks or under eye, she is the color TAN. This shade will be lighter in tone so she’d need to use this with a bronzer to add back the color the lighter tone muted in the warmer areas. If she wanted to match her darker tones like the forehead, she could go with the color BRONZE but it would be overall darker so no bronzer or contour would be needed.
• Blush- To give a pop of color and shine to her cheeks, our top pick was Zuii Organic’s Blush in Melon! This is a warm peachy pink that’s universally flattering on all skin tones with just a hint of shimmer & shine.
• Brows- For brows, we love the Plume Pomade because it fills in brows effortlessly to give them that natural but full look! This also contains conditioning ingredients to keep the brows growing long and strong! April is the color Chestnut Decadence for a more neutral, medium brown. Less is more with this so you can start with a tiny bit and then add on more as needed!
• Lips- Because of April’s gorgeous and glowing skin, we felt a spicy and bold lip would really compliment her so well! Nu Evolutions lipsticks apply with a smooth and creamy, super glossy and glam finish! Formulated with nourishing Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil & more, these provide a majorly bold pop of pigment all without artificial dyes, gluten, mineral oil, parabens or fragrance! For her, we chose Femme Fatale which is a majorly bold orangey-red. Perfect for those that enjoy a more warm lip.
