Smokey Eye Essentials

Today’s Friday Favorite definitely goes to this Zuii Organic Black Diamond eyeshadow as it really is the very best black, non-toxic color I have come across so far. Because I love, love a smokey eye, I have gone through so many different natural black shadows but have never really been satisfied with any of them entirely besides this one.

I tried this color months ago and loved it, but after trying out several others since then, I can confidently say that this is my favorite. Not only does it apply heavily pigmented, it lasts all day and has yet to crease up on me. I also love using this shadow as a bottom eyeliner, simply use a thin brush to apply this to the lower lash and bam, you have yourself the perfect smokey eye.

I also tried out this all natural eyelash glue today by True Glue, I didn’t think this stuff would hold up as well as the toxic bad stuff does, but it really did! Just a thin layer of this clear, jelly-like glue and my lashes have stayed put all day. I also love that this glue doesn’t feel heavy, weighing my lashes down. If you love fake lashes, this glue is a must-have for sure as conventional eyelash adhesives contain very harmful chemicals including formaldehyde, ammonia and more. Because the eye is a mucus membrane, whatever you apply to it is absorbed into your blood stream, that means every time you’re applying your lashes you’re absorbing carcinogens and other harmful chemicals directly into your system. But no need to worry anymore, True Glue solves that problem for once and for all.

So there you have it, today’s Friday Favorites, whoops guess there was 2, but that’s ok because a smokey eye and safer lash go hand and hand.

Bronzer- Vapour Bronzer also applied with a beauty blender *

Powder- RMS Tinted “Un” Powder in color 2-3 *

Powder Bronzer- Au Naturale. Once I set my cream bronzer with the RMS powder, I like to dab a powder bronzer on top.

Mascara- Lily Lolo, but I am also wearing fake lashes.

Lash Glue- True Glue.

Eyebrows- Eco Brow in Penelope *

Lips- Lined with Zuii Organic in Spice, Lipstick is Red Apple in Ooh La la.
